TALENT SECURES NEW UK COMMISSIONS

Talent Television has secured a commlssion from Sky One for a three-part documentary series and is at work on an interactive factual entertainment special for the BBC.
For Sky One, Talent is producing the three-hour Made in LA. Hosted by Pop Idol judge Nicki Chapman, the series will go beneath the surface of Los Angeles glamour to look at those people who cater to the city's rich and famous.
BBC One has commissioned Talent to produce You Be The Judge, in which participants can air their grievances and settle civil disputes. The live primetime special is based on a format created by Robert Chua and distributed by Distraction Formats. It is expected to air in the spring.
The company is also at work on a new edition of the game show Casino Casino, a co-production with Gag Productions, for Challenge. The 19 episodes, now one hour long, will air In 2005. The series begins with 56 contestants playing in a casino staffed by actors and gaming professionals. In the final episode, the remaining four contestants compete for a £10,000 prize, and the chance to double their money in a final gamble. |
