test the nation - know your english test

The latest Test the Nation challenged the public to improve it's IQ.  Rivalry was high in the studio:  public schools versus state schools. Butchers versus Vegetarians.  Everybody wanted the Estate Agents to finish last and the Footballers Wives added a huge touch of glamour to the proceedings.

The big news however was that Danny Wallace joined as new co-host with Anne Robinson.  Danny took to the show like a duck to water and provided some hilarious moments.  Particularly his determination with the trombone playing public schoolboy and flirting unashamedly with the footballers wives.

The highest celebrity IQ score was Keith Barron.  Followed closely by Liberty X's Michelle Heaton and Radio One's DJ Spoony.  Rather a shock result as alleged brainboxes Andrew Neil and Clarissa Dickson Wright were predicted to sweep the board.

The show won it's slot on BBC 1 over all opposition.  Averaging 5.1 million.  With 4 million people watching at midnight.
