Current affairs show Mr Ambassador for Radio 4

Talent Television is increasing its news and current affairs slate, with a new commission for a two-part programme for BBC Radio 4, Mr Ambassador

This commission is further fruit of Talent's decision to move into this genre with the appointment last year of Alexandra Henderson who was Editor Elections and Special programmes for the BBC and has held a number of senior positions in news and current affairs, from executive producer on Panorama to deputy head of political programmes.

Devised in-house by Alexandra Henderson and documentary maker, Anne Tyerman, the programmes are Talent's first radio productions for BBC Radio 4. They will take the form of personal essays from John Bruton, who was EU ambassador to the United States and former Irish Taoiseach.
