TALENT WINS ROSE D'OR FOR "TEST THE NATION" May 2005 |
|
London, May 2005 - Talent Television has won a prestigious Rose D'Or award for its prime time BBC1 production "Test The Nation - The Great British Test".
British broadcasters cleaned up at the 45th Rose D'Or festival held at Lucern, Switzerland. picking up all the awards in the comedy and sitcom categories. Great Britain as a whole took 11 of the 18 awards.
The ceremony was hosted by UK comic Tim Vine, and attended by celebs including Sir Bob Geldof, Zoe Wanamaker, Thomas Gottschalk, Harry Belafonte, Blacky Fuchsberger, Lorenzo Lamas, Pippa Haywood, Pat Nolan and Lesley-Ann Down.
The BBC took seven of the 11 UK-awards home. Test the Nation: The Great British Test, a Talent Television Production for BBC One with Eyeworks, won the top award in the Game Show category.
