TALENT TELEVISION ACQUIRES 8th March 2004
AMBERWOOD’S HERO ZEROMAN |

London & Ottawa, 8th March 2004 - Following the recent announcement of a strategic alliance between the two companies, UK indie Talent Television has acquired the rights to 13 episode series ZEROMAN, currently in production from Amberwood Entertainment, Canada, it was announced today by Sheldon Wiseman, CEO of Amberwood and Annie Miles, Director of Talent Kids, Talent TV’s children’s division.
ZEROMAN is an animation series targeted at the 8+ years audience and was developed to feature Hollywood actor Leslie Nielsen. Neilsen plays the hapless, incompetent superhero, Zeroman, who is the alter-ego of Fair City’s favourite mailman, Les Mutton.
Talent TV has taken the UK rights to this first series developed by Amberwood for Teletoon in Canada and agreed to co-produce all subsequent series.
Annie Miles commented, "I am delighted that we have acquired ZEROMAN. It is a superb, comedy animation series, with great production values and wild storylines that will appeal to a wide audience of all ages around the world."

This was followed by a breakthrough reality entertainment format for 6-11 year olds called "Best of Friends". Produced for CBBC, the first series of 15 x half-hours is scheduled for transmission on the CBBC digital channel in March 04.
